- Pinsuvana, this is perfect with satay.

- 2 Tbsp. sugar 1 cup cucumber, peeled and sliced
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar 1 red onion, sliced thin
- 1/4 tsp. salt 1 red chili pepper, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. hot water

- Arrange cucumber, onion, and pepper in layers in serving bowl.
- Mix vinegar, sugar, salt, and hot water until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour liquid over cucumbers and serve.
